Known Issue: FFB in Version 1.3
We are aware of an FFB filtering issue introduced in the 1.3 update causing excessive oscillation on certain cars. Our team is actively investigating.
A test build is available via Steam's pub-share beta with alternative input filtering that may help:
- Right-click Le Mans Ultimate in Steam > Properties
- Go to Game Versions and Betas
- Enter access code: rNZ553qE8gWd
- Click Check Code and opt in to the pub-share branch
Note: The Duqueine is the main known problem car on this build. Only opt in if experiencing FFB oscillation issues.
FFB Has Completely Stopped Working
- Reset FFB button: Map a button to "Reset FFB" in Settings > Controls, press during session.
- Restart fully: Exit to desktop (not just main menu) and relaunch.
- Reinstall wheel software/firmware: Uninstall completely, reboot, reinstall latest version.
- Check in-game settings: Settings > Controls > Force Feedback. Confirm multiplier is not zero.
- Verify game files: Steam > Right-click LMU > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity.
Temporary FFB Loss When Other Players Join
Known issue: brief FFB loss when another player joins your practice server. Temporary - restores automatically.
FFB Spikes or Random Jolts
- Reduce FFB Smoothing or Minimum Torque in Settings > Controls > Force Feedback.
- High-torque DD units: reduce in-game FFB to 50-70%, increase force via wheel software.
- Ensure wheel firmware is up to date.
Wheel-Specific Issues
- Thrustmaster: Full software and firmware reinstall typically resolves FFB loss.
- Fanatec GT DD Pro: Clear "Brake Migration Forward" / "Brake Bias Forward" bindings if FFB is erratic.
- Logitech: If wheel pulls to one side, enable "Constant Steering Force" in settings.
Still Not Fixed?
