Can't Connect to a Server or Session
- Check your internet connection. A wired (Ethernet) connection is strongly recommended over Wi-Fi.
- Check server status. Visit racecontrol.gg or our social channels for maintenance or outage updates.
- Restart the game. Exit fully to desktop and relaunch.
- Verify game files: Steam > Right-click LMU > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.
Frequent Disconnections During a Session
- Switch to wired connection if on Wi-Fi - packet loss is the most common disconnect cause.
- Check firewall/antivirus: Ensure Le Mans Ultimate is whitelisted.
- Restart your router.
- Stop background downloads (Steam updates, Windows Update etc.) while playing.
Connection Issues and Race Results
Connection drops during a race are treated as mechanical failures. Race results, Driver Rating, and Safety Rating are not modified due to connection issues. This ensures result integrity for all participants.
RaceControl Account Reconnection
Your RaceControl account uses auto-login. If disconnected from the RaceControl service, simply restart the game to reconnect - no manual login needed.
Still Having Issues?
Submit a support ticket with: a description of the issue, your connection type (wired/Wi-Fi), your ISP, the approximate time of disconnection, and a log file from Steam\steamapps\common\Le Mans Ultimate\UserData\Log.
